"Programa de investigación y de redes de comunicación de las Naciones Unidas sobre la mujer" -WUNRN

 MISIÓN

 El Programa de investigación y de redes de comunicación de las Naciones Unidas sobre la mujer (WUNRN) es una organización no gubernamental enfocada en  aplicar las conclusiones y recomendaciones de un estudio de las Naciones Unidas sobre la libertad de religión de creencias y la condición de la mujer desde la perspectiva de las Religiónes y Tradiciones (E / CN. 4/2002/73/Add.2). Este estudio tiene un importante enfoque universal e integral de las Naciones Unidas contra la intolerancia y la discriminación contra la mujer basada en la religión y las tradiciones.

Para fortalecer el nexo entre los derechos de la mujer y la libertad de religión o de creencias, es importante basarse en  aspectos jurídicos y fácticos de este estudio de investigación, planes de acción y proyectos prácticos. 

WUNRN, junto con el Proyecto Tandem, está comprometido con este objetivo mediante el apoyo a los derechos fundamentales, la dignidad y mujeres en todas partes, y por la promoción de la tolerancia y el fin de la discriminación contra la mujer basada en la religión y las tradiciones.

WUNRN se enfoca en los derechos humanos, la opresión y el empoderamiento de las mujeres y niñas de todo el mundo.

WOMEN'S UN REPORT NETWORK

MISSION STATEMENT

The Women's UN Report Program & Network (WUNRN) is a non-governmental organization to implement the conclusions and recommendations of a United Nations Study on Freedom of Religion of Belief and the Status of Women From the Viewpoint of Religion and Traditions (E/CN.4/2002/73/Add.2). This study is a major, universal, comprehensive U.N. approach to intolerance and discrimination against women based on religion and traditions.

To strengthen the nexus between women's rights and freedom of religion or belief, it is important to build on the Juridical and Factual Aspects of this study by research, plans of action and practical projects. WUNRN, together with The Tandem Project, is committed to this objective through support for the dignity and fundamental rights of women everywhere, and by the promotion of tolerance and the end of discrimination against women based on religion and traditions.

WUNRN addresses the human rights, oppression, and empowerment of women and girls all over the world.
